The Student Athlete Mentoring Program (S.T.A.M.P) founded in 2009, is the dba of IDentity Theft Resolution Center Inc. a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, created to empower and inspire students to become leaders, community advocates and futuristic thinkers. Our mission is to inspire the world's next generation of leaders through mentoring, personal development, futuristic thought and community responsibility. When we teach our students to dream and support their efforts to attend higher learning institutions, we ultimately promote self-worth and self-esteem.
The S.T.A.M.P. participants range in grade levels 3rd through 12th. The majority of the students are from areas where success is hard to find in the adults they encounter. Teaching success strategies through personal development can change the lives and the outcomes for students in our community. Some students who participate in S.T.A.M.P. reside in “at-risks” area. The Department of Juvenile Justice has entrusted many of their teenage offenders to the S.T.A.M.P process. With success, we have been able to change the trajectory of those teenagers and put them on a different path.
With our "No Homework Left Undone" program, our vision is to equip students and athletes with the necessary tools to succeed in the world academically, athletically and personally. We mentor, guide and assist our students with becoming more self-aware and with understanding their value through tools that support personal development, individual growth, goal setting and dream building. By implementing a support system that our youth can rely on in times of crisis, challenges and success, we have created a trusted network of mentors committed to our kids future. The S.T.A.M.P. environment is designed to attract and maintain youth involvement as well as promote excellence in all areas during their formative years.
Objectives include:
To increase high school graduation rates
To create an environment for dream building and futuristic thinking
To expose youth to a world that’s bigger than the local community
To implement strategies that promote academic excellence and athletic growth/success
To promote accountability and good citizenship
